The Rail Staff Awards take place on Saturday 7 October and this year we have more members of the CrossCountry team shortlisted than ever before.   The Rail Staff Awards is an annual event which celebrates the fantastic achievements that have occurred across the industry over the last 12 months and recognises the people who achieve them. The night provides a chance for everyone to acknowledge the hard work, innovation and drive that keeps Britain running on rails.   We have been extremely fortunate that not only were nine individuals and three groups nominated for the great work that they have done over the past year but also they have all being shortlisted. This is an amazing achievement and shows how highly regarded our people are.  The representatives are as follows:   • Les Sidebottom, Driver at Manchester - Lifetime Achievement Award • Harry Woollaston, Customer Relations Advisor - Samaritans Lifesaver Award • Customer Relations Team - Team of the Year • The Seat Reservation Improvement Project Group - Team of the Year • Marketing Team - Marketing Team or Person of the Year • Pete Donnelly, Train Manager at Birmingham - Rail Person of the Year • Chris Playfair, FCH at Leeds - Rail Person of the Year • Krissy Thompson, Project Manager - Project Manager of the Year • Amritpal Brom, Change and Delivery Manager - Project Manager of the Year • Scott Wild, RSM/Coach at Edinburgh for Depot Staff of the Year • Thomas Cantwell, Resource Controller - RBF “Heart of Gold” Award for Charity • Josh Watkins, Interim Western and Wales Planning and    Project Interface Manager - RBF “Heart of Gold” Award for Charity
